Spring Break 2002

I had a great time once again on Spring Break this year. Teri and I had quite the adventure driving. We started the trip two days early, on Thursday, February 28, 2002. We drove to Minneapolis, where Teri had an internship interview. We stayed with her friend Carolina on the campus of the University of Minnesota (I don't think I'd like going to school on that big of a campus). We went to Sioux City from there, where we were side-tracked by a snow storm (dumb snow). After a 'detour' through Omaha, we drove down to St. Louis...seeing something like 62 vehicles (on the side of the road, in the ditch, or in accidents). And there was more than one instance where we almost became one of those cars...luckily we weren't though.
In St. Louis, we stayed with my grandparents. I drove us everywhere...getting lost only once...and that was 'intentional'. We went almost everywhere that tourists would go during a spring visit to St. Louis (I think my tight schedule drove Teri nuts though). Our visits included...Missouri Botanical Gardens, St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Science Center/Planetarium, Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, Butterfly House, the Galleria (shopping mall), Historical Museum, Art Museum, City Museum, St. Louis Arch, Union Station, and the Hard Rock Cafe. We had quite the time, saw lots of things, and I was able to spend some time with my family, which was nice as well. So...enjoy some (there are too many to put them all on here) of the pictures that I took during the trip!
